Fix Problems of ticket printing

1. Header and footer

This problem occurs when you can see on the header and footer the url address, date, title, etc.

HOW TO FIX IT WITH FIREFOX

1.- Go to "print" on the Firefox menu.

2.- Select "Configurate page".

3.- At "Margins and header/footer", choose the option "blank" in all categories (left, center and right).

HOW TO FIX IT WITH CHROME

1.- Go to "Print" on the Chrome menu.

2.- In the printting menu, disable the check on "Header and footer".

HOW TO FIX IT WITH INTERNET EXPLORER

1.- Go to the tools icon on the Internet explorer menu. Choose the "print" option and the option "Configurate page".

2.- Choose the option "empty" in all categories of header and footer.

This problem occurs when the ticket is being printed longer as it should be.

HOW TO FIX IT WITH WINDOWS

If you are using Chrome you have to set the parameter "Background graphics" checked in the printing preview

1.- Go to "printer properties" on "Devices and Printers" in your control panel.

2.- Select "Advanced options" and "Paper Size" and choose the minimun paper size.

3.- Select the smallest paper size.

HOW TO FIX IT WITH UBUNTU

  • 1.- Go to "System configuration"

  • 2.- Go to Printers

  • 3.- Do right-clickon the ticket printer

  • 4.- Choose "Properties"

  • 5.- On the left menu, choose the option "printer options"

  • 6.- Finally, "Media size" you will find the length paper sizes list

  • 7.- Choose the shortest one.

Problems with margins

This problem happens when the print marginsare not defined.

HOW TO FIX IT WITH FIREFOX

1.- Accede a "imprimir" a través del menú de Firefox

2.- Seleciona "Configurar página"

3.-  In "Margins and header/footer", you can change the values as you need.

HOW TO FIX IT WITH CHROME

1.- Go to "print" on the Chrome menu.

2.- In "Margins" choose your prefered option.

HOW TO FIX IT WITH INTERNET EXPLORER

1.- Go to the settings icon in the Internet explorer bar. Choose the "print" option and, the option "Configurate page".

2.- In "Margins" you can change the values as you need.
